Other details:
- ECU program stored in removable permanent EPROM memory. ECU map data stored in permanent EEPROM memory but changes can be made to maps via pc.
- At least one RS-232 compatible serial port & one parallel port are required for PC-ECU communications.
- Internal data logging RAM for recording last quarter hour of engine data (at 10Hz). Data logging is automatically activated when engine revs exceed user-defined point (1000rpm minimum). Logging is paused when revs fall below switching point. Data is downloaded and stored on hard disk in CSV text format for viewing on a third party data analysis package.
- Channels recorded are Engine speed, Throttle, Air flow, Pressure, Water, Air, Lambda, Supply volts, Spare input, Fuel injected value, Ignition advance, Cam position, logging start/stop marker and error flags for Cam sensor, Throttle, Air flow, Pressure, Water, Air, Lambda and Supply voltage.
- EMSPC V9.x ECU mapping software will operate under MS-DOS, Win3x, Win9x or ME operating systems. A third party driver (DIRECTIO) is required to enable use with Windows NT, 2000 or XP. New windows based mapping software is currently under development.
