Inputs:
- Throttle position.
- Barometric (Atmospheric)/Boost pressure.
- Water (Coolant) temperature.
- Air temperature.
- Lambda sensor (narrow band).
- Battery supply voltage.
- Mapping adjustment inputs for fuel and ignition.
- Crank sensor input (magnetic or digital type set in hardware by RTD depending on required application).
- Cam sensor input (magnetic or digital type set in hardware by RTD depending on required application).
- 3 x spare switch inputs (require ground/0V to activate).
Outputs:
- 4 x injector outputs capable of driving 4 x 2.5ohm injectors directly.
- 2 x ignition trigger signals for driving a dual channel ignition amplifier for wasted spark.
- 3 x valve outputs which can be PWM switching or static and capable of driving up to 4A.
- 1 x tacho output.
Other details:
- ECU program stored in removable permanent EPROM memory. ECU map data stored in permanent EEPROM memory but changes can be made to maps via PC.
- At least one RS-232 compatible serial port & one parallel port are required for PC-ECU communications.
- User can alter fuelling amounts, ignition advance, fuel & ignition compensations based on air & water temp and pressure input, individual cylinder fuel trims, injection delivery point, acceleration and deceleration supplements, ignition coil charge duration, injector phasing (double injector set-up only), soft cut and hard cut rev-limit, shift-light speed, launch control stutter, gear change cut and input sensor default levels.
- EMSPC V9.x ECU mapping software will operate under MS-DOS, Win3x, Win9x or ME operating systems. A third party driver (DIRECTIO) is required to enable use with Windows NT, 2000 or XP. New windows based mapping software is currently under development.
